How to use ZoneLock (Grit X/Pacer/Vantage)

ZoneLock lets you lock into the training zone (heart rate zone, speed/pace zone or power zone) you’re currently in on the fly. ZoneLock works with heart rate zones in all sport profiles and training views without any extra actions. With speed and power zones, first add the fullscreen speed and power training views to the sport profiles you wish to use ZoneLock in from the Flow app or web service sport profile settings.

How to use ZoneLock

  1. Press and hold the OK button to lock into the zone you’re in. Your Grit X/Pacer/Vantage will then alert you if stray out of your target zone.
  2. Press and hold the OK button to turn ZoneLock off.

How to add fullscreen training views to a sport profile

In the Polar Flow web service:

  1. Click your name/profile photo in the upper right corner.
  2. Choose Sport profiles.
  3. Click Edit under the sport you want to edit. Under Related to device choose Training views. Choose Fullscreen, and choose Speed/pace graph or Power graph.
  4. When you're done with the settings, click SAVE. Remember to sync the settings to your Polar device.

In the Polar Flow mobile app:

  1. Go to the main menu.
  2. Choose Sport profiles.
  3. Choose a sport and tap Edit. Under Related to device choose Training views. Choose Fullscreen, and choose Speed/pace graph or Power graph.
  4. When you're ready, tap Done. Remember to sync the settings to your Polar device.
