My Polar Loop is not charging
Applies to: Polar Loop
To restart the device, press the restart/reset button with a pin when the device is NOT plugged in to charge. For detailed instructions, see How do I reset my Polar Loop?
Do not charge the device when it's wet or sweaty.
If your device doesn’t charge properly, it could be because the charging area on the back of the product is not clean enough. Before charging, please make sure there’s no moisture, dust or dirt on the charging contacts of your device and cable. Gently wipe off any dirt or moisture.
Keep the charging contacts of your device clean to effectively protect your device from oxidation and other possible damage caused by dirt and salt water (e.g. sweat or sea water). The best way to keep the charging contacts of your device clean is to wash the device regularly (at least once a week) with a mild soap and water solution. The device is water resistant and you can wash it under running water without damaging the electronic components. Do not charge the device when it's wet or sweaty.
- Make sure the charging cable is firmly in place.
- Remove and replug the charging cable into your device.
- If you plugged your device into your computer via USB Hub, try plugging it in directly to the computer's own USB port.
- Try the other USB port(s).
If the above doesn't help, please contact your local Polar service for further assistance.
