Sync, turn off and factory reset from Polar Flow app

In addition to other device settings, you can start synchronization, turn off, and perform a factory reset on your Polar device from the Flow app.
Accessing device settings
- Tap Devices on the main menu and choose your device. Swipe left if you have more than one Polar device.
- You can also access the device settings directly from the Diary view by tapping the Connected device card. Tapping and holding the card also starts the sync.
Manage your device
- Sync: Initiate the synchronization cycle from the app, rather than from your Polar device.
- Turn off: You can turn off the device from the Flow app's settings.
- Factory reset: If you experience problems with your device, you can reset it back to factory settings. Note that resetting the device back to factory settings will erase all personal data and settings from the device, and you will need to set it up again for your personal use. All data that you have synced from your device to your Flow account is safe.
For iOS: Using a Factory reset will retain the pairing information on your phone. You will need to remove your Polar device from the paired devices list in your phone's Bluetooth settings before you can take the device into use again with the Flow app. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the "i" icon to the right of your watch and choose Forget This Device.
