How to turn on the Always On Display in Ignite 3
In time view
The Always on display is off by default in Polar Ignite 3, meaning that the display will turn off completely when you're not actively using it.
If you want the display to always show the time, you can turn the Always on display on in Settings > General settings > Display always on by choosing Show time.
Always on display is disabled, when Do not disturb is switched on.
During training
By default, the backlight is not constantly on during training to save the battery of your watch. The backlight is automatically switched on when you turn your wrist to look at the watch.
To enable backlight always on during training: Swipe down from the top of the display during a training session to pull down the Quick settings menu. Tap the Backlight icon to choose Always on:
The Backlight Always on / Automatic setting is available in the Quick settings menu only during training. With Always on chosen the watch display will be illuminated throughout your training session. The backlight setting will default back to Automatic after you finish your training session.
Keeping the Always on Display on in your watch (in time view or during training) will drain your battery much faster than the default setting.
