Customized heart rate zones in the analysis view of training files recorded with Polar Verity Sense
Customized heart rate zones can be displayed in the analysis view of training files recorded with Polar Verity Sense if you have a Polar watch that supports sport profiles connected to your Polar Flow account.
For your customized heart rate zones to appear in the training analysis view, they must be customized in the settings of the sport profile under which the training file will be stored (Swimming for training sessions recorded using Swimming mode, Other indoor for training sessions recorded using Recording mode). The heart rate zones must be customized before you sync the training file from the sensor to the Polar Flow app or web service. Customizing the heart rate zones does not affect the training files that were synchronized before customization.
Please note that before you can use the sensor in recording or swimming mode, it needs to be connected to your Polar Flow account.
When you open your training file in the Polar Flow app or web service, you'll see your customized heart rate zones on the heart rate graph in the training analysis view:
To customize the heart rate zones:
In the Flow web service:
- Click your name in the upper right corner and choose Sport Profiles.
- Choose Edit on Swimming or Other Indoor sport profile.
- Under Related to sport, choose Heart rate.
- Choose Custom as the heart rate zone type and edit the zone limits.
- When you're ready, click Save.
In the Polar Flow mobile app:

- Choose Swimming or Other Indoor and tap Edit.
