Polar V800 compatibility with new iPhone models
After upgrading to iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max or iPhone SE (2020), synchronization with Polar V800 and the Flow app might not work as expected: the first pairing and sync are successful, but every sync after that fails. To sync the V800 again, the pairings must be first removed from the iPhone and V800, and then you need to pair them again to be able to sync successfully once.
We have looked into this issue and unfortunately, we do not foresee that this restriction will change in the future and therefore the new iPhone models are not fully compatible with Polar V800. We can only recommend you continue syncing your Polar V800 with Polar FlowSync on your computer - or use another compatible mobile device to sync the device.
Download FlowSync from https://flow.polar.com/start if you do not have it already installed on your computer.
- Plug the USB cable into your computer and snap the connector onto your V800. Make sure FlowSync software is running.
- The FlowSync window opens on your computer, and the syncing starts.
- Completed is displayed when you are done.
Note that this issue only affects Polar V800, other Polar devices are compatible with new iPhone models.
