Troubleshooting WebSync Installation


If you have problems updating or installing the latest WebSync software:

  • Close WebSync before installing a new version. In Windows: Right-click WebSync icon in taskbar and select Exit WebSync. In Mac: Secondary click the WebSync icon in menu bar and select Exit WebSync.
  • Uninstall previous version before installing new one. Windows: 1. Right-click WebSync icon in taskbar and select Exit WebSync. 2. Select Start(Settings →) Control PanelAdd or remove programs / Programs and Features.3. Select Polar WebSync from program list and click Remove / Uninstall.4. Select Polar Daemon from program list and click Remove / Uninstall.

    Mac: Run the uninstall file that can be found from WebSync installation .dmg file.
  • Download the latest version of Polar WebSync software from the DOWNLOADS section of the Polar GoFit support page. To install WebSync, download the installer, run it and follow the instructions on the screen.
