Stride sensor and stride length

Stride length is the average length of one step, i.e. the distance between your right and left foot when running. On the training computer stride length is a calculated average of the running cadence (distance divided by running cadence).

Stride length is stored in the training computer's exercise log and can be used in detailed analysis. It is stored per exercise, per lap, and per phase.
With RCX5 stride length can also be analyzed in and with compatible training computer in Polar ProTrainer 5 software.

To get the stride length value, you need to have Polar s3+ /s3 stride sensor™ W.I.N.D. enabled on the training computer.
