Can students use their own heart rate measuring devices?
Students can purchase their own Polar heart rate measuring devices (sensors and watches), and use them instead of school devices. Personal devices need to be registered into the Polar GoFit web service and Polar Flow before they are taken into use. Registering own devices to the Polar GoFit web service is simple: just add the device ID into “Own device ID” text field in student information.
On Flow-based devices the “Heart rate visible to other devices” functionality in the Polar Flow account needs to be set on in all sport profiles before the device or the sport profile can be used in the Polar GoFit application.
