Voice guidance not working when using Samsung phone

If your Beat app doesn't guide you with voice with a Samsung phone even when it's enabled in Beat settings, read on.
In Samsung phones, different Text-to-speech engine might be selected. For the Polar Beat voice guidance to work, Google text-to-speech engine needs to be active. Check the following setting in your Samsung phone:
- Android 8 and newer: Settings -> System -> Language & Input > Text-to-speech options. Change the module from Samsung text-to-speech to Google Text-to-speech engine.
- Android 7 and older: Settings -> Accessibility -> Text-to-speech. Change the TTS engine from Samsung text-to-speech to Google Text-to-speech engine.
After doing this, restart Polar Beat and see if Voice guidance works. If not, reinstall the app and try again.
