Polar Vantage M2 2.0.12 firmware update – New languages and HR sensor mode
There is a new firmware update available for Polar Vantage M2. Update your watch on your computer via FlowSync or on your mobile via Flow app.
New languages
The Vantage M2 is now available in three new languages: Estonian, Hungarian and Slovenian. You can change the language of your watch in Settings > General settings > Language.
HR sensor mode
HR Sensor mode allows you to use your watch as a heart rate sensor to view your heart rate data via BLE on gym equipment or mobile apps for example. See HR sensor mode (user manual) for more information.
Backlight brightness setting and menu improvements
We’ve added the option to adjust the backlight brightness to general settings. Note that this setting doesn’t affect the backlight activated with the LIGHT button, it only affects the backlight triggered when pressing any other buttons or when turning your wrist to look at your watch.
In addition, we’ve made improvements to the menu and renamed a couple of menu items. Alarm settings are now conveniently located in the Timers menu for easy access. In Settings, you can view and edit your General settings, choose which watch faces are shown on the display in time view under Choose views, customize the Watch face style and color, and view and edit Time & Date settings and Physical settings.
