Polar Vantage V and Vantage M GPS issues between March 22nd and 24th, 2019

We’ve received several reports related to poor GPS performance during last weekend. The root cause of the problem was that A-GPS information provided by the GPS chip manufacturer was mistakenly missing status information of one satellite that was under maintenance. The A-GPS data included a satellite which was under maintenance from March 22nd to 24th, and the incorrect GPS positioning information was a result of the watch attempting to use the defective satellite.

The maintenance break of the satellite is now over, and the system is operating normally. However, we recommend that you sync your watch using FlowSync, which will update the latest A-GPS information onto your Vantage.
