Update the Polar app via system software update
There’s an Android Wear system software maintenance release available for Polar M600 users. Also the Polar app on your M600 will be updated automatically to version 2.2 when you update the Android Wear system software on your M600.
The system software update will roll out gradually within one week to all Polar M600 smartwatches. You’ll be notified directly on your M600 when you’ll be able to upgrade your smartwatch. You can download the update to your M600 by plugging the smartwatch in to charge while the M600 is connected to a Wi-Fi network or to your phone when your phone has an Internet connection. See the support document How do I update my M600 software? (Android Wear 2.0 and up) for further instructions.
To keep the smartwatch running smoothly, make sure also the Android Wear app on your phone is up to date! You can check the latest versions of the four different softwares related to your M600 from this support document.
New feature Polar Sleep PlusTM
The updated version of the Polar app brings a new feature to your M600: Polar Sleep PlusTM.
Polar Sleep Plus is a feature that allows you to monitor the quality of your sleep, rate how you slept, and receive feedback based on the tracked data.
With the new Sleep Plus feature your smartwatch will detect when you fall asleep, when you’re sleeping and when you wake up. It will track interruptions during your sleep span telling you how much time you actually spent asleep. After waking up, you can rate how you slept on your Polar M600, in the Polar Flow web service or Polar Flow mobile app to get detailed feedback on your last night’s sleep.
To get started you need to set your preferred sleep time in the Polar Flow settings. Then simply start wearing your Polar M600 at night. You can learn more about the feature and get detailed instructions from The what and how of Polar Sleep Plus support document.
