Flow app iOS 2.5 update
As the Polar A360 brought something completely new to our line of products along with the wrist based heart rate measurement, we’re now bringing something new to our mobile applications. From this Flow app release onwards, you’re able to take your A360 into use with our Flow app mobile application. No need for a computer anymore to take the device into use, nor when there’s a software update available - you can do both of these solely with your mobile!
For our Android users, this has been built in to the Android Flow app application already in the previous release, Flow app Android version 2.5.
Set up your A360 with Flow app
To get started, charge your A360 so it has enough power for the set up. While your A360 is charging, check that you have the latest version of the mobile application on your mobile. You can download it from the App store or Google Play.
The application will walk you through the set up. If you need more detailed instructions how to take your A360 into use with the Flow application, check out this document.
Software updates for the A360 with the Flow app
Also the software updates are now possible to do with the updated application for the A360. When there’s an update available for the Polar A360, you’ll get a notification on the Flow app about the update and the application will guide you through the update. Just make sure you have enough power on your phone and your A360, since the software update might take up to 50 minutes depending on the language settings.
More information on the updated features from the Flow app Release notes.
Even though you can now work through all the A360 updates through your mobile, we don’t want you to miss out on our Flow web service. There’s a lot more fun and interesting stuff in our Flow web service which will help you reach those targets, so don’t forget get to pay a visit to the Flow web service every now and then.
