Pairing Kéo Power Bluetooth® Smart Transmitters with Cycling Computers

Pair the transmitters with the receiving device before going for your first ride.

You can find a device ID printed on the backside of the transmitter. There’s a different device ID for each transmitter.

  1. Rotate the cranks for five complete revolutions to wake up the transmitters.
  2. Continue the pairing process on the cycling computer.

If, for some reason, the pairing fails:

  • Check the transmitter battery. Replace the battery, if it is empty.
  • Check the receiving Polar device battery. Recharge the battery, if necessary.
  • Check that the receiving Polar device is close enough to the transmitter.
  • Check that the transmitter is awake.

On V800

Both transmitters need to be paired one at a time, therefore you have to perform the pairing twice when taking the Kéo Power Bluetooth® Smart system into use. After pairing the first transmitter, you can immediately pair the second one by selecting it from the list. Check the device ID on the backside of each transmitter to make sure both transmitters have been paired.

There are two ways to pair the Kéo Power Bluetooth® Smart transmitters with your V800:

  1. Press START in time view to enter pre-training mode.
  2. Rotate the cranks to wake up the transmitters.
  3. The device ID Pair Polar PWR xxxxxxxx is displayed. Choose Yes.
  4. Pairing completed is shown when you are done.

or

  1. Go to General Settings > Pair and sync > Pair new device and press START.
  2. Rotate the cranks to wake up the transmitters. V800 starts searching for a Kéo Power Bluetooth® Smart transmitter.
  3. Once the transmitter is found, Polar PWR xxxxxxxx is displayed.
  4. Press START, Pairing is displayed.
  5. Pairing completed is shown when you are done.
