Can I add my training sessions to my mobile's calendar?

​Starting with Polar Flow app v.3.2 you can merge your Flow training calendar with your mobile's Google calendar or Apple calendar.

To merge with Google calendar on Android

  1. Open the Flow app and go to  ► General settings.

     
  2. Toggle the levers to the right for Polar Training results and targets.
  3. Choose your Google account and give Flow permission to use the Google calendar.

  4. Go to Google calendar app settings to turn Sync on for Polar Training results and targets.

Sync your devices to see your training sessions and training targets from Flow also in your Google calendar.

 

 

To merge with Apple calendar on iOS

​Before starting, make sure you've given Polar Flow access to your calendars.This is necessary for the merge to work. Go to Settings ► Privacy ► Calendars on your iPhone, and toggle the lever to the right for Polar Flow.

  1. Open the Flow app and go to General settings.
     
  2. Toggle the lever to the right for Apple calendar and accept the calendar confirmation note.

  3. Go to Apple calendar app to manage which calendars will show in it. 

     
  4. Scroll to Polar training results and targets. Keep them both checked if you want them in your Apple calendar app or uncheck one or the other if you don't need them.
      
     
  5. Sync your devices to see your training results and targets in your Apple calendar app.

To merge with Google calendar on iOS

​Before starting, make sure you've given Polar Flow access to your calendars.This is necessary for the merge to work. Go to Settings ► Privacy ► Calendars on your iPhone, and toggle the lever to the right for Polar Flow.

  1. Open the Flow app and go to General settings.
     
  2. Toggle the lever to the right for Google calendar and accept the calendar confirmation note.

  3. Choose your Google account and give Flow permission to view your email address, view your basic profile info and manage your calendar. If you get this Success! message you're done and can jump to step 6. If you have trouble see the next step.

  4. If you get this Having trouble with calendar message, it means you haven't given your Google account access to your calendar or you haven't installed Google calendar on your phone.

     
  5. To give your Google account access to your calendar, go to Settings Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your iPhone and choose your Gmail account. Toggle the lever to the right for Mail, Calendars and Notes, and start from step 1 again.

  6. Sync your devices to see your training sessions and training targets from Flow also in your Google calendar. This is what your calendar should look like.
