Weighted R-R average

In the calculation of weighted R-R average, every heart beat interval is weighted according to it’s length. Weighted average of [500, 750, 1000] is 806, whereas average is 750

SD1 ms Deviation of the scatterogram plot in the "short" direction
SD2 ms Deviation of the scatterogram plot in the "long" direction
RMSSD ms Root Mean Square Successive Differences: the square root of the mean of the sum of the squares of differences between adjacent normal R-R intervals over the selected area. This parameter measures the beat-to-beat variability of heart rate.
pNN50 % Percent of heart beats where difference between new R-R interval and previous RR interval is greater than 50 ms, calculated over the selected area. You can also adjust the millisecond limit between 10 and 100.

Measures of Heart Rate Variability / Frequency Domain

Power Spectral Density is calculated using autoregressive modelling,and the spectral power in the selected area is calculated over various frequency bands.

Total Power ms2 Total Spectral Power over frequencies between DC and 0.40 Hz.
VLF ms2 Spectral power of the R-R intervals in the selected area in the Very Low-Frequency range between DC and 0.04 Hz.
LF ms2 Spectral power in the Low-Frequency range between 0.04 and 0.15 Hz.
HF ms2 Spectral power in the High-Fequency range between 0.15 and 0.40 Hz. This frequency band usually includes the respiratory frequency.
