How do I sync my Polar device with Flow service?
You can transfer data from your Polar device via USB cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth Smart with the Polar Flow app.
To sync data with the Flow web service via a USB cable you need FlowSync software. Every time you plug in your Polar device to your computer, the Polar FlowSync software will transfer your data to the Polar Flow web service and sync any settings you may have changed in the service. The Polar FlowSync software must be running on your computer’s taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac OS X) for the automatic sync to work.
Go to flow.polar.com/start, and download and install FlowSync software before trying to sync. Then do the following:
- Plug the micro USB connector into the USB port in your Polar device, and plug the other end of the cable into your PC. Make sure FlowSync software is running.
- The FlowSync window opens on your computer, and the syncing starts.
- Completed is displayed when you are done.
Every time a firmware update is available, FlowSync will notify you, and request you to install it.
If you change settings in the Flow web service while your Polar device is plugged into your computer, press the synchronize button on FlowSync to transfer to the settings to your Polar device.
