How to Export Exercise Data

Exporting report data
1. Open the desired report in the Polar software.
2. Select EditCopy to Clipboard.
The software prompts you to choose if you would like to copy the data in graph form or in listing form. The data is copied to Windows Clipboard.



3. Open the program you wish to edit the exercise data with (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and paste the data to the target program.




Exporting exercise data as text


With the Export as Text function you can save the heart rate data as an ASCII text file (.txt file). You can open the created text file in other programs (e.g. Word) and use the program to analyse the heart rate data.

1. Open the exercise by selecting FileOpen Exercise, or by selecting FileOpen HR File.
2. Select FileExport as Text option.
3. Select the folder where you want to save the file to. Enter a name for the file and click Save. The file is saved as with the .txt extension.
4. Open the created file in the program of your choice and use the program's functions to analyse the data.

If you have made selections in the Curve view, the heart rate data is saved according to the selections.

Exporting exercise data from listing view
The Export as Text function saves only the heart rate data (see above). You can export all exercise data (heart rate, speed, cadence, altitude and power) another program from the Listing table.

1. Open the exercise by selecting FileOpen Exercise, or open the exercise file by selecting FileOpen HR File.
2. Click the Listing button on the toolbar, or Select ViewListing.
3. Select EditCopy to Cliboard to copy the data the Windows Clipboard.
4. Open the program you wish to edit the exercise data with (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and paste the data to the target program.

Export exercise data as a graph
Use the Copy to Clipboard function to copy the active graph to the Clipboard. The copy will include all elements displayed on the screen.

1. Open the exercise by selecting FileOpen Exercise, or open the exercise file by selecting FileOpen HR File.
2. If you would like to copy another graph than the one displayed in the Curve view, open the corresponding graph (Distribution, Zone Summary, Listing or Scatterogram) from the View menu, or click the corresponding button on the toolbar.
3. Select EditCopy to Clipboard. The graph is copied to the Windows Clipboard.
4. Open the desired target program and paste the copied graph using the Paste function in the target program.

You can also copy reports in a graph format to the Clipboard by opening a report and using the Copy to Clipboard function.
