Live heart rate broadcasting
You can broadcast your live heart rate to compatible devices and apps using Bluetooth connectivity. Broadcasting your live heart rate publicly means that any compatible app or device nearby can pick up your heart rate. This feature can be useful in group exercise classes where everyone's heart rate is shared on a screen, or when a coach or teacher wants to monitor your heart rate. Live heart rate broadcasting is off by default.
To turn live heart rate broadcasting on or off on your watch:
- Press and hold OK in time view or press BACK to enter the main menu and choose Start training. Browse to your preferred sport.
- In pre-training mode, choose Settings to access the Quick menu.
Choose Share HR with other devices.
Choose Heart rate visible to all, then set heart rate visibility On or Off. The setting you choose will be saved for future training sessions with the selected sport, but you can change it anytime.
You can also find the Heart rate visible to all setting in the sport profile settings in the Flow app and web service. If you change the setting via the sport profile settings in the Flow app and web service, the updated setting will be synced to your watch the next time you sync it with Flow.
